Today was one of those days…but today was in a good sense. Monday is a day I spend with my family and do nothing church related if I can help it all. Today I had a wonderful day with my wife and my kids. We swam, played board games, went to the Library, and laughed a lot. It was just one of those wonderful days.
I did do some reading in my new book “The 4 Hour Work Week” today. Has anyone read this and if you did what are your thoughts on it? I am about seven chapters in and find some of it to be thought provoking.
Only working 4 hours? Sounds like a lot of cycling can get done. OR is that not the “push” of this book.
That is the idea in the book. Many miles on the bike in the extra 36 hours you will not have to spend at work.
Hmmm. Makes me want to consider the book. Now if I could only convince the church I pastor.
“bill, we noticed that you don’t come into the office as early as you used to and you don’t stay as long. What are you doing?” Bill: “I just read a book and I am taking its advice. I am working 4 hours a week and riding the other 36.” “Oh ok. Sayonara.”
