Downhere is a christian music group that I really enjoy. They have a song on the newest CD that is called Hope is rising and it is one powerful song. The whole CD is great, but that song has real meaning for me right now.
I have a church that is showing great interest in me being the pastor which is exciting, scary, and wonderful all at the same time. It is the spark that I needed right now and I am grateful for a God who gives us these little things in life that get the Hope rising in us. I am thankful for all those praying for me and my family. Please continue to pray for us and that God would direct us to the right place of ministry and that we would sell our home quickly.

That is awesome news, Jim. I will continue to pray for you, that God’s will be clearly revealed, for your family that they have peace and assurance that He is firmly in control, and that you just know that God doesn’t make mistakes and when He wants something to happen, it will and all the other parts will fall into place.
As to your question, my group at work has been trying to take on a different role for the company for the past year and a half, so the “any day now” has led to credibility issues, and we’re waiting to get the final word from the VP on approval for that action. If it happens, which he’s verbally said he supports, that’s a great long-term thing for my team. If something changes and we don’t get that responsibility, then me and my team (11 total) will be at risk of osbolesence. We’re all-in, so to speak, and I have peace that God has a plan, whether here or eleswhere. I guess that’s really the hope I cling to..
