The plain truth is, I am a guy who is a follower of Jesus Christ. I love being a husband and I love my wife. I love being a father and I adore my two kids. I am a pastor of a rural Southern Baptist Church in Southeastern Virginia and I love this church. God has blessed me with a wonderful Church body to serve in. One of the best things in life is seeing someone life change through the power of Jesus Christ. I have served several church over the years and was in the counseling feild for 11 years before full-time Pastoring. I attended Liberty University in the late 80’s and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
I enjoy sports (watching and participaing), movies (comedies are my favorites but enjoy all types and styles), books ( I find myself reading a lot of leadership books and enjoy non-fiction), and good food (that is food without onions). If you wish to know more about my faviorites check out the the favorites page. Hanging out with the family is a great time. I love hunting and fishing with my son. I love talking with pastors and leaders. I have a strong desire to grow in pastoring and leadership skills. I also have a strong desire to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Christ.
Anything else you wish to know, just ask. Also if you wish to know more you can look at the favorite list page.
Hey Jim. Saw your link on the Deadly Viper blog (don’t know who you are and perhaps you want it that way) and wondered if you would mind me linking you to my blogroll. Consider reading mine and linking me to yours? Thanks.

Jim,
I am very impressed with your blog and how much time you have put into making it speak God’s Word. I just released my blog http://awalkoffaith.wordpress.com and am excited about how God will use it to transform the hearts of men and women who are hungry for the Word and are ready to walk with Him. It would mean the world to me if you could check out my blog and share it with those around you.
God bless and thank you for taking the time to look at my blog.

P.S.
Do you have any prayer requests for your blog?

Michelle,
Thanks for the kind words. I will check out your blog and add it to the blogroll here.
Prayer request would be that people would see and read that Jesus makes a difference in life and those that know would be encouraged.
Thanks again for stopping in and reading!
