First and foremost Jim loves Jesus Christ! Jim serves as the Pastor of Sedley Baptist Church in Sedley Virginia and loves it. He was born and raised in Altoona Pennsylvania. He went to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia from 1986 until 1991 then back to finish those pesky 9 credits he needed to graduate in 1998. Jim has a Bachelors of Science in Church Ministries with a concentration in Youth. He received his Masters of Arts in Pastoral Counseling in 2001 from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has over 12 years of ministry experience and has over 10 years of experience working in the counseling field. He has served in churches in Pa. and MD as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor. He has been married for over 18 years to a wonderful and godly woman named Wendy who is a stay at home mom and a blogger/ women’s speaker. She is one of the godliest women he knows. You can check out her ministry at www.afterthemiracle.com. Jim and Wendy have two children, a girl named Mckayla and a boy named Luke.
Jim enjoys many things like watching and particpating in pretty much any and all sports. He loves to hang out with wife because she is his best friend and more than he could have ever asked for. He will even go shopping with Wendy just to spend time with her even though he hates it. He enjoys hunting/ fishing/bike riding with his son. He loves laughing/joking/teasing with his daughter. He enjoys reading, laughing, joking, music, having a good time with life, inspiring and being inspired and much more. He loves most foods but dislikes Onions – really, really dislikes Onions. As far as professional sports are concerned he is an Eagles fan and Pirates fan. College sports he is a Liberty Flames fan and a Penn State Fan.
By the way – Jim has no idea why he typed this in the third person but he did.

Hey Jim. Saw your link on the Deadly Viper blog (don’t know who you are and perhaps you want it that way) and wondered if you would mind me linking you to my blogroll. Consider reading mine and linking me to yours? Thanks.
Since finding your blog this morning, I have been perusing your posts. If you don’t mind, I would like to add you to my blogroll.
I assume that you are careful about what you link to, but if you check out my blog and find it worthy of mention, I would be honored if you could add me to your blogroll. If not, I would still like to include you in mine.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
I just hopped over to your blog from another blog I was reading. I’m looking forward to reading more in the future!
God bless you, and Happy New Year!
~ Heather Joy
Thanks for reading heather and I look forward to following along on your blog. God Bless and have a great New Year!
Hey Jim, I’ve seen your name on several other blogs I follow, so figured it was time to check you out! Love your blog here, just added it to my RSS. And it’s always great to connect with a pastor. I grew up in a pastor’s home and I’ve always had a soft spot for pastor’s and their families. Looking forward to reading your blog and getting to know you. Have a great week!
Nathan,
Thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to know you as well!
